Who we are

Founded in 2006, Sandra started the company as a side hustle. A need to balance a busy home life (being the mum of three school-aged children) with a business concept she felt passionate about was her objective. The Green Clean Team, an environmentally conscious cleaning, organising and maintaining company, was the outcome.

A long-standing joke was that the Green Clean ‘Team’ comprised just one member! However, it didn’t take long for the company to grow in size and force. Joined full time by husband Mike in 2010, Sandra’s team continued to grow from strength to strength, winning the Asia Pacific Business Excellence Awards for most innovative company in 2012. Today, the Green Clean Team has developed into a dynamic organisation that employs over 60 staff members with service regions scattered across the state of Victoria.

“Mike and I met working as outdoor tour guides, taking people on cross country skiing and rafting expeditions both here in Australia and abroad,” remarks Sandra. “Living and working in such pristine environments really highlighted the importance of preserving and respecting the world around us. We want our kids, our grandkids and their grandkids to be able to enjoy the world as we did. So we knew we wanted to start a business that”.
